trustee assignment

trustee assignment
In Novell NetWare, a mechanism that determines how a user can access an object, a directory, or a file. Also known as trustee rights.
For example, trustee rights regulate whether a user can read a file, change it, change its name, delete it, or control other users' trustee rights to it. Trustee rights are assigned to individual users, and one user's rights can be different from another user's rights to the same directory
